Securable Shaft Nuts<

Shaft nuts are being used in engineering, whenever components on shafts have to be secured against lateral movements and the shaft nuts position on the shaft has to be fixed after tightening. With ALMA shaft nuts distortion of the nut during the installation can be avoided easily.

They are available for radial and axial clamping depending on the mounting situation. They provide high axial force and feature an improved inherent stability. Only a small clamping force is needed to fix the shaft nuts for axial clamping. This way deformations of the shaft nut body are avoided. In general, ALMA shaft nuts provide higher clamping forces and a better distribution of force.
